Halle began working at Newport Physio and Health in March 2024 following her recent experience in the retail industry. She is currently undergoing a bachelor degree in Midwifery at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she hopes to become a Midwife in the next couple of years. Halle has a passion for helping people and looks forward to spending more time in the Newport clinic. When Halle isn’t working in the practice you will find her attending dance classes, eating Asian cuisine and working at the sister clinic in Scarborough.

Why did you choose Admin?

I choose Admin as I have worked many years in retail and enjoy change. I completed a certificate III in business administration in high school and enjoy communicating with and helping people, specifically through their health and wellbeing.

What do you love about working at Newport Physio and Health?

The work environment at Newport Physio is welcoming and supportive, no matter who you talk to or work with. Everyone works together as a team and you always feel like you are a part of the Newport team.

Tell us about a couple of your hobbies?

I enjoy attending dance classes as I have been a dancer from the age of 3. I also enjoy going to the beach on a sunny day and love to go shopping!

What is an interesting story that not many people would know about you?

I was named after Halle Berry. When my mother was pregnant, both my parents watched the James Bond movie starring Halle Berry, and realised they didn’t have a girl name picked out as they 100% thought I was going to be a boy.
